Dear readers I arrived in Germany's capital city on Thursday night after what seemed like the longest flight of my life. Germany is just the same as it always is. I checked into a hostel in the middle of the city. the hostel was nice but i soon realized that i was sharing a room with just one semi creepy looking guy. luckily they agreed to change my room to a room of 6 girls.
I haven't minded traveling on my own as much as i thought i would. I've been touring the museums and wandering around the city. The first night I stood with 1000 plus Russians and Spaniards near the Brandenburg gate and watched the European cup. the next night I went to the opera which I enjoyed but I'll have to blog about later. Today I am off to see the head of Nefritiri and the Babylon gate. Then on to Leipzig. More to come.

I'm glad you are having fun. I thought Megan was with you though.
I miss you! But I am so glad that you are okay! I get so worried! :) Loves
You are so Lucky Joanie! Enjoy your trip in Germany and Greece!
Eat a doner for me. I don't know how to make an umlaut on the computer.
Hey Joanie
I knew you had to have a blog! Sounds like your life is just as exciting as ever. Doesn't surprise. Of course, I'm jealous that you are in Germany and wow...I bet that was a good game between Spain and Russia. It was fun watching the finals yesterday, but too bad Germany didn't win! Glad I found your blog and glad to see that you are still having fun and enjoying life.
As long as you're picking up a doner, grab a brat for me!
Berlin is famous for Achtung Baby!
